3 Weeks and nothing - What legal action can I take please

2016-10-03, 11:50 AM

Hello Forum memebrs,

I had a problem with the watch within 6 months of usage and been asked to send for repair. Initially I was told that it should be back with me in 7-10 working days. But this has been now three weeks and eveytime I ask over email / phone / chat / twitter I'm told that its awiating for spare parts.

NO they don't have an ETA when they will receive spare part and when I will get my watch. It could be a month or 6 months or even a year. No point in asking to escalate the matter either.

Anyone know how I can claim back my money for selling a faulty poduct? It has been in use for more than 6 months now and need to know the trading standard regulations related to UK.

Thanks,

Gnans.

Hi Gnans,

I'm sorry to hear about that. Would you be able to send your contact details to supportforums@motorola.com so that we can look into this for you?

Many thanks!

Quincy

That will be of NO use. See the last email I received from your team to contact another team on their number. Did I buy the device from you? YES

"Thank you for contacting Motorola.

As I can see that your case is escalated and device current repair status is " Awaiting parts " which means as soon as parts are available they will fix an issues with the device and return back to you.

I suggest you to please contact the repair centre

Contact number of Anovo is 01603 269947

In order to check the status of the device please follow the below link

Unfortunately we cannot provide you any timeframe."
