What is that ... I cannot use the Play Store on my Moto360 2nd anymore ...

I tried to update my Moto360 2nd gen via wearOS and i am receiving following message on my watch:

Google LLC

This App is not compatible anymore with your device.

If you need further information contact the developer.

 

Is this a joke? I bought a watch for ca. 250-300,- €  and now it is useless?

 

What can i do to get the functionality back?
