Walked into local uBreakiFix. He was so nice and apologetic. They avoid smartwatch repairs because there are FEW places other than China to get replacement batteries, it takes forever to get them, many times it's the wrong battery or it's defective somehow and they end up eating the cost and time is wasted restarting the process.
Update to replacement watch (had to accept rose gold vs my original silver) Motorola sent last week after $75 and much yelling (me) .... Watch was on AW 1.4 when it arrived. Took much battery drain, freezing, + many shutdowns/restarts and overnight to load WearOS and get back to 100%. But it did. I even got another update last night. I'm NOW on 2.17/7.11 DEVICE: Moto 360 2R3Q. WORKING SUPERBLY NOW
