I own a Moto 360 2nd Gen and honestly I haven't used/worn it for almost a year now. I'm thinking of wearing it again and would love to know what is the latest firmware version available for this device? Would appreciate if I could get the Android Wear OS version along with the build number

That's a good question. Google made a mess of this when they decided to remove System Version numbering and update everything through the Wear OS app on the watch. Then they came back around to Wear OS lettering, which only some watches qualify for.
My 360 Gen 2 is totally up to date and shows:
Android Wear - 22.214.171.124791771
Google Play Services - 15.0.90
Android OS - 7.1.1
Build - NWD1.171020.001
The best advice is to at least get on the Android Wear 2.0 / Wear OS 2.0 version. Then download the Wear OS app on to your watch > reboot > check for updates again. Most updates now come through the Wear OS app. I think the last update was a traditional System update that rebooted the watch, etc. Google really needs to revert back to simple System Version numbering and make this more simple for us....the users.
