After the Extremelly BAD Camera, ("F ixed Focus"), that don't even work with Barscanners APP, this is one of the biggest flaws that have this Moto-E phone:

- An "Scalating-Ringtone"and there is no way to modify it...

I Currently own a Moto-G LTE and Two Moto-E, and this "Scalating Ring" Problem is so uncomfortable that I am seriously Thinking of returning both Moto-E!!!

I really don't understand why Motorola don't change this, to make it normal or optional as in all other cell-phones?

Hope that in the upcoming Kitkat 4.4.4, Motorola will fix this uncomfortable scalating ringtone problem...

You may try app  "Disable Increasing Ring" . However ascending ring tone is great feature, as sudden full volume blow may increase stress level in some people. Further it may not disturb the whole forum / meeting , even if you forgot to switch the phone  to silence mode. But it should be optional(these features were included in the age old nokia phones)

Thanks for your reply!

Unfortunatelly the "Disable Incleasing Ring" APP don't work with the Moto-G...

May be ascending ring tone is a great feature, but as I mentioned before, the problem is that I can not hear the 2 first ring-tones, because the low volumen...

That is kind of the point -- the concern is what might happen if the phone starts ringing when it is being held up to your ear. We don't want to deafen anyone!

Please do not PM me - if you have issues, search the forums for threads on your topic and post there, or start a new thread. Thanks!

Thanks matt for your reply!

I understand you, but since I also have a Moto-G 4G LTE that don't have the "Increasing-Ring" problem, I am comparing the Moto-E to my Moto-G LTE...

I think that if Motorola have used this Type of "Incresing-Ring" Tone in the moto-E for security reasons, why the Moto-G LTE that is a better cellphone, comes with the "Normal" Type of Ring Tones??

As I mentioned before, I really think that Motorola should have included a method to enable or disable the "Increasing Ring" in the Moto-E...!!

It's different from the Moto G because the speaker on the E is on the front.

Please check compatibility of app " Escalating Ring " V2.0  and use trick of selecting  minimum volume at much higher  & max volume at 100%

I would also prefer that ascending ringtone is an optional feature in Moto E. People are complaining to me saying that i have taken a long time to  pick up their call, when in effect, its a while before i am able to even hear it .. This is true especially when i am outside or in a slightly noisy place..

I am having the same problem with my Moto-E as you:

"All People are complaining to me saying that I have taken a long time to  pick up their call"

I have been saying the before:

Motorola should have let the user to enable or disable this option!!
