Moto E4 plus & can't change provider

Trying to put a Virgin SIM in a handset bought from Vodafone, who I want to leave. Virgin says the handset is locked, Vodafone says the SIM is locked. Been arguing with them both for 3 weeks. Now paying for two contracts at great expense. Apparently no NUC required says Vodafone. Virgin codes to unlock SIM don't work. Phone just says Unlock SIM when I put it in. Any help much appreciated, totally stuck.

Thanks for posting and sorry to know about this. Kindly contact Vodafone for further assistance. For SIM lock you will have to contact the network provider.

Thanks but Virgin are saying it's not the SIM, it's the handset. Vodafone are saying it's the SIM. So I'm stuck between two providers and paying both. I just need to know from Lenovo if my handset is locked or not, or if anyone else has had this problem and how to resolve? Thanks

Thanks yes, completed all the forms on 24 October and have been locked in this battle ever since. Probably spoken to them 20 times now. Raised an official complaint and still no joy.

Do you have a pending balance from your carrier that you need to settle first? I can't think of any other reasons for this.
