Re: Moto E4 MetroPCS Touch Screen Stuck Problem

Hi Axari,

Thanks for posting. I appreciate the steps you've tried and done so far. Are you using a phone case and/or a screen protector? If so, kindly remove them as they might affect the screen's responsiveness. How often does this happen? You mentioned it works fine after restarting the phone, I'd like to confirm, when will the issue persist?

I would recommend booting the phone in safe mode too, so we can separate your third-party apps from the factors causing this.

To Enable Safe Mode
1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.

Let me know. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich

Re: Moto E4 MetroPCS Touch Screen Stuck Problem

Hello Rich,

Thank you for reply, I am not using phone case or screen protector. The issue is happens once in 24 hours while my phone is in sleep mode for long time, mostly in the morning. I didn't try Safe Mode but I was trying by uninstall every third-party apps and hard reset, but the issue is still there.

Re: Moto E4 MetroPCS Touch Screen Stuck Problem

Hi Axari,

Thanks for confirming. Can you please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Need help updating your profile? See here.  I would also still recommend observing this on safe mode to make sure it's not an app causing an issue.

Best regards,
Rich

Re: Moto E4 MetroPCS Touch Screen Stuck Problem

Hello Rich,

Thanks for helping! I update my profile with current phone, and Motorola privacy is on. As you prefer observing phone with safe mode for disible third-party apps, I told you I perform hard reset my phone and didn't install any third-party app just update system default apps but the issue was still there.

Re: Moto E4 MetroPCS Touch Screen Stuck Problem

Hi Axari,

Thanks for updating your profile. This seems to be a hardware failure already. I recommend sending the phone for repair in this case.
