Re: Moto E back cover is loose

2014-07-08, 12:38 PM

I noticed I had the loose back problem but had let 3 to 4 weeks go by and was told by the support people at Motorola that the buyers remorse time period had passed. I was offered was a 10% discount on an accessory order. That is not what I believe is support.

Purchase a new part at a discount to replace a defective part less than a month after the original purchase? seriously

I recommend to any Moto E owner that you act quickly if you have a defective back cover.

Could anyone who has received a new back cover please post if it has a better fit. I would not want to purchase a new cover only to discover it has the same defect.

Thanks in advance

Rich

I am sure that will work - right up until you need to take the back cover off for some reason.

I would not recommend anyone do this.

If you want to use glue, use a white glue (Elmer's). Will hold in place, but can be easily removed if necessary as can all traces of the glue.

But still would not recommend gluing it at all.

I think you have not seen full video.. :) you need to apply small amount of glue only on the locking edges.. and let it DRY.. this will form a thin layer on it.. It is working for me.. Just a solution.. up to you to try.. thanks!

I recently bought a Moto E and I found the back cover was loose. It shakes a bit and moves around as if it's a little too big for my phone. It is defective design of moto e.Nobody will replace or change it. Myself from kolkata, purchase 6th July 2014 from flipcart.
