Moto D with marshmallow. Wont turn on

2016-04-04, 18:14 PM

I was listening to music and the music stopped. I looked at my phone and screen was unresposive. I waited for it to start but the phone turned off on its on. Now it won't turn back on. When I trun it on the moto M logo along with powered by android comes after a few mins it shifts to the boot screen animation which goes along for another 5 mins. then The screen goes blank but there is light in the screen and its stuck there (I have waited max 20 mins at this stage) I do a hard reset and the phone does the same on repeat

Try this. Especially the last 120 seconds part

How do I reset my device?

In the unlikely event that your device becomes unresponsive, frozen, blank or black screen, or will not respond to the power button, you can perform a force restart or reboot on the device by following the steps below.

Press and hold the Power button for 7 - 10 seconds, the device will restart and go through the boot-up sequence.

Notes:

The forced restart or reboot will not delete any Data on your phone.
If completing the 7-10 second Reset does not recover normal functionality of the device, then press and hold the Power Button for a full 120 seconds while connected to a charger.

Tried it. Tried factory reset too. Still does the same.

Do you have an SDcard installed? If so remove it and try another reset.
