In Android 5.0.2, we are facing the issues..after lolipop update apps are taking long time to install..whenever we install any apps it is taking a longtime to install..
I have already factory resetted the phone & wipe cache partition also..
Bring the android 5.1 as soon as possible..

1) How much time is considered "a long time" roughly how many seconds, minutes?
2) What is the file size of some of the apps in question?
3) Are you installing the apps over WiFi or Mobile Data. if using mobile data are you on 2G, 3G or LTE?

I see you have wiped the cache partition already and performed a factory reset. One other thing you could try is go to settings>apps>play store and clear the cache just for the play store just to make sure.

When you factory reset the device did you reset it as a new device or did you restore from a backup?
Try running the device in safe mode: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/99932/p/30,6720,9151... is the install time noticeably faster?

I also tried in the safe mode, but the issue still persist..I have also visited the service center they also tried it but the problem was not solved..I thing this is a problem in android l 5.0.2 only..Motorola should bring android 5.1 soon..as it has fixed all the issues & added new features..

My device is installing the apps at a reasonable pace which is why I suspect there are other issues besides just the OS itself. How is your RAM usage in settings>apps>running. As I'm sure your aware if you are lacking RAM it will greatly affect your install time.

The ram usage is good..System 191 Mb
Apps: 318 Mb
Free 380 Mb
I personally think that it is an issue in android 5.0.2 itself..Because in Moto E 1st gen also the same problem arises..
android 5.1 will fix all this issues..
