Hi Rachit4,

The phone does not support casting. The button is there because of a Google requirement for the user interface.

You might not want to give up so easily. I have a G2 and it screen-casts to a Google Cast device (second generation) without a problem.

@Rachit4 are you trying to connect to chromecast devices or miracast/all share/roku devices?

Re: CAST SCREEN IS NOT WORKING MOTO G2

Using MotoZ2, I am attempting to connect to a screen mirroring dongle device (ScreenBeam mini 2). The phone can find and connect to the device, but will not cast.

I've read that this new phone is not configured to mirror, and only works with Chromecast. Is this correct?

My Samsung connected to the device effortlessly, so the ScreenBeam works.

In the MotoZ2 cast settings there are no devices listed to pair with, even though it's connected.

Advice?
