Not sure why I haven't been able to find this error mentioned for the Moto G 2G anywhere in the forums, but it appeared yesterday and nothing will fix it. I have restarted numorous times, cleaned the cache, forced the app to stop, cleared cache and data and tried deleting other apps that might be interferring. Nothing works. Anyone run into this issue and found a solutions?

Thanks for posting. I understand that we wanted this to be fixed. Kindly try to boot the phone into safe mode. Please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
To Enable Safe Mode:
1. Press the Power key
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen.
3. Touch OK when Reboot to safe mode appears
4. Phone will reboot and Safe Mode will appear in bottom left corner
5. If the issue is resolved in safe mode, the cause appears to be a 3rd party app.
6. Simply power cycle the device to disable safe mode, and then go through the process of trying to identify and removing the problem application.

Thanks for the reply. Let's try to force stop the camera. Please go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Force Stop. Once done, kindly try to test the camera.
Please let me know how it goes. Thanks.

We are constantly getting the "camera error please restart phone." I have saved a bug report to my wifes google drive. It is her phone which is why the bug report is on her drive.
Here is the link:
She was using YouTube at about 5PM EST and we generated the bug report at that time.
This error happens a totally random times and is making using this amazing camera quite unpleasent.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
We have tried all the other suggestions on the various forums which is why I am sending the bug report.
******* This is for the Moto Z Play phone model. *******

Keep getting - Camera error please restart camera.
Have gone to the app. and turned it off then on again. Turned lots off then on, thinking that might do something - ZILCH!
Have tried all things - phone off - force stop - clear data - clear cache - getting frustrated now.
Have a Moto G5 and there does NOT seem to be any way to contact any customer support.
Joined Motorola Forum and the just sent me to Lenovo Forum.
Any suggestions PLEASE
