Max size card on Moto G 3rd Gen

2016-03-09, 14:19 PM

I know 32GB is the max according to the paperwork, but anyone have a 64/128GB working without any issues using stock software?

Also do you have more then 32GB ON the card, i mean no point in having 128GB if it can only read 32GB.

I also have a 32GB card in my phone, it goes a long way. However, MicroSD cards are a cheap upgrade for the phone, I'd also like to hear if 64GB or 128 GB works.

Using a 64gb card with no problems. I've heard 128GB works fine as well but have not tried it, so can't confirm.

Make sure whatever card you test has a decent return policy. Officially, Motorola tested up to 32GB. That doesn't mean larger cards won't potentially work, but it does mean if it doesn't you can't ask for official support.

What card did you use; Name and Class, etcetera?
What operating System did you use for example Lollipop or Marshmallow?
Step by step procedure was used to use the 64GB Card?
Did you use FAT32 or exFAT, and which software did you use and the step by step instructions - List everything? Thanks.
