Migration to G6 plus

2018-12-10, 20:48 PM

This has probably been answered before, but I'm new to this forum and don't really know my way around the search features. My question is how do I migrate from G3 to G6 plus?

I prefer to setup as new as different OS versions sometimes have different requirements.

So I make sure contacts, email, calendar are synced too google, then setup gmail on new phone. This takes care of my most important data. If you want SMS messages transferred there are 3rd party apps to do so in the play store. Then i manually install apps and configure them. It forces me to avoid installing the apps i only used once or twice.

I get a new phone with no baggage.
