Posted to Android Central and Android Forums Moto G3 sections--for all the good it'll do.

I haven't signed it. I'm not certain I will. Unless, in upgrading the G3 to Nougat, they also add VoLTE (and, hopefully, WiFi calling), so we get T-Mobile's extended network on Band 12 in the U.S.: I can see them doing Nougat as likely doing more harm to the phone, than good.

Unlikely, IMO, even if it does collect a lot of signers.  Can't hurt to sign it, if you want Nougat on the G3.  Won't cost you anything.  (Except maybe getting future email notifications about other Change.Org campaigns.)

I don't understand what is the deal with this phone. It's a terrific phone, but, it almost appears as if Lenvorola hates it and wants it to go away.

A better Change.Org petition might be: Lenovorola: Tell us why you treat the Moto G, 3rd Gen. phone like an unwanted step-child?

Everyone should sign this petition... lets look at the REAL issue here.

One of the biggest draws of this device was the promise of timely updates for 18 months, there were (and are) multiple other devices with similar or even better specifications in the same price range but due to the promises by Moto they seemed inferior, so many of chose the Moto G 2015 over the competition largely because of the promise of future updates.

Moto is trying to just sweep this device under the rug, one of the best selling Moto devices in a very long time, after promising 18 months of fast updates, they are not following through with the promises made to consumers. This is unacceptable and the petition is one way of people saying "Hey, we see what you are doing here and we know it's not right".

Will it get us Nougat officially? Maybe, maybe not, we can only hope so... but signing this petition has zero negative effects, there is no possible negatives here at all. If it is successful, great, we get Nougat (which also means we get the kernel source and proprietary blobs to help custom ROMs overcome issues), and if we don't at least Moto knows we realize they are not following through with one of their biggest selling points, and will likely remember that when it comes time to replace our devices.

As of this posting there are over 600 users who have signed this petition, and the number is growing by the hundreds each day. Please sign and share on forums and social media outlets, the more it is spread around the better the chances of it having some effect.

Moto G 3 / turbo does support VoLTE in MM. That's what I read everywhere on the internet.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has signed the petition... We have exceeded the 1000 signature milestone today and received confirmation this be a featured story on more than one major Android news outlet in the coming days.

I am still requesting everyone to actively sign the petition.

Again, thank you.
