process com.android.settings has stopped - Phone unresponsive

Hello, I am using a Moto G3.

I am getting two errors

1 --> "Unfortunately, the process com.android has stopped."

2 --> "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped."

These two errors keep popping up one after another and there is nothing I can do on the phone.

Tried restarting phone in safe mode but the errors pop up in safe mode also.

You may have to try a reset then.

Re: process com.android.settings has stopped - Phone unresponsive

How do I reset when I can't access any feature of the device.

Will I be able to take a backup of data by any chance.

Your backup will consist of what you are already backing up to different google services. There may be some app data backed up by google, but your best bet would be to reset and restore/install nothing - make sure the problem is repaired by a reset, then start installing apps.

You can do an external reset. You could try a cache clear first though.

Here are some great troubleshooting videos that cover safe mode, cache clear, and factory reset. Try these suggestions and let us know

I am having the same issue with my e4. I have tried a factory reset and I'm still having the same issue.
