Good to hear!  Check out the thread in GPSPassion - there's a new skin from SciFi Dude that ads current street you're travelling on to the top display bar! (a welcom addition for sure!)

Re: TN series Support Phone Number

Rhea: Hi, my name is Rhea. How may I help you?

dhave:  Hi, Rhea. Thanks. I have a new TN765t GPS from Motorola, and I was  disappointed to see that the latest maps available are from 2009. I just  got off the phone with tech support, and they said they aren't able to  tell me when a map update is planned. Could you please help me find out?  I'd like to keep my device, but if maps aren't going to be updated,  then it's not very useful to me.

Rhea: I apologize for the inconvenience, dhave.

dhave: Apology accepted.

Rhea: Motorola  has a different support for the MotoNav. Please contact us at  1-800-331-6456, M-F 7am-10pm & S-S 9am-6pm (CST) so that we can  transfer you to our MotoNav support for further assistance. They are  open Mon-Fri 7am-7pm (CST).

dhave: I called 1-800-668-6765. Is that not the right number?

Rhea: I apologize, dhave, but that is not the direct number for the MotoNav.

Rhea: Please  contact us at 1-800-331-6456, M-F 7am-10pm & S-S 9am-6pm (CST) so  that we can transfer you to our MotoNav support for further assistance.

dhave: OK, i'll try the num you suggested. Thanks.

Rhea: You are welcome. So will there be anything else before we end?

dhave: No, I guess not. I'm on that line right now, though, and it sounds an awful lot like the recordings I got with the other number.

dhave: bye bye

Rhea: Thank you and my apologies for that. If you need any more information get in touch. Thanks from Motorola, bye!

Rhea has disconnected.

Re: TN series Support Phone Number

I find that odd, dhave, as I`ve called them 3 times myself,( at the number of 1-800-668-6765)  First time I called was last Thursday, and got Victoria, and she answered the question I needed to have answered.  The 2nd time I called, I got Lewis, and he didn`t really help on a different question that I had, and just earlier today when I called, I got Latasha, and she couldn`t answer the question that I had posed to Lewis, so I still have to call them again, either later this evening, or early tomorrow.  None of them, even mentioned about the other number, just sharing what has happened to me, the last few days........hmmmm.......

Left hand, right hand, ...

I will say that I got through nearly right away at the number you provided, while I've now been only hold for 25+ minutes on the number Rhea gave me.

The guy I talked to at "your" number was very nice, but he didn't know anything about map updates and couldn't suggest anything other than trying the developer support e-mail address, which is something that a number of us have already tried, I believe.

Agreed.  My guess is that any of the phone numbers that are available for support, wholly depend upon the "luck of the draw" on just which person answers the phone at that partiucalar time, as to whether an accuarate answer is given to the paticular caller.

About 3 or so weeks ago, I too, tried calling the 1-800-331-6456 number seeking the vey same answer you tried to get responded to today, but didn`t get anywhere with them at that time.  However, maybe your luck is better than mine when you call, and maybe you can get somewhere.  Hopefully, someone with knowledge will answer this time.
