TN765T STUCK IN OPTIMIZING MODE

2010-12-04, 2:27 AM

Wow am I frustrated....tried to connect my HTC Aria with the TN765t went thru all the steps....finally the gps screen says it has connection, is optimizing connection...and to watch the phone display and accept bluetooth requests for motonav tn700. Well it went on for an hour my phone showed nothing from the gps......so I give up, turn off bluetooth but the nav is totally stuck trying to optimize....I cannot use the damn unit at all. I turn it off and come back in 5 hours and its still trying to optimize.......any suggestions friends?

Did you reset it?  The little tiny button located on the bottom recessed inside one of the mount holes.

After you do that make sure to delete the bluetooth profile from both your phone and the GPS.  Then try re pairing again.

Mine did the same thing a while back, and after I reset it by sliding the power button to the "off" psoisition, and holding it there in that spot, for 10-12 seconds, then, restarting  the device.it conncected successfully.   This may  help in your case too.......worth a try.
