Device Storage Full

2012-10-22, 12:45 PM

I have a few admirals at work.  This is the second one in the past 30 days. Employee get a Dvice storage is full apllication cannot continue.

I also have a 1 gig external sim added to the factory 2gig.

When I hook up the phone to USB it displays The phone displays 1.13gig free of 1.3  and the SD card reads 908 free of 917. So plenty of space!!

There is not too many extra application loaded on the phone. probrably 8 apps loaded besides factory apps.

When I pick the full icon. It will display "app storage .99gb used 5.1mb free"

We do use corporate sync.  Email engine displays 779mb

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay.

Could you look at the "Running" tab under App management? I think that may be way it is giving the warning. There may be apps running that are eating up the RAM.

Thanks,

J

Don't know if this applies, but I had this happen after using a file manager to delete some zombie folders (non-essential apps). After a reboot the warnings went away. Just thought I'd mention it.

No luck. I ended up doing a reset to factory settings.

I do think it could be the email.  We use the corp sync.

I have found a way to delete the photos from the Admiral when the device says “Memory Full” which will free up memory.

Go to Apps screen>Tap Files>Tap Internal phone storage>Tap dcim>Tap Camera>Tap menu>Tap Select multiple>Tap next to each photo to place check>Tap Delete>Tap ok
