Happy Customers.. :)

now that ics is finally out and most of us have updated to it, i just want to know how many of you are happy with the update that motorola have provided with. I thinkthe time takenby motorola for the upgrade canbe justified. There are a numurous upgrades for the phone. Its smooth, smart, and what not.. 1)one of the major improvement is increasing the clocking speed of the processor from 1000mhz to1200mhz. Now our phone has 1.2ghz processor in it.It is just 1 ghz on ginger bread. 2)the camera application has improved very much. It used to be just ok previouslyonginger bread. But on ICS the time to take a picture has decreased. And coming to the quality of photo, its superb. The image quality has improved a lot.3)Motorola has integrated smart actions application too with ICS..that was also loving. My next device is going to be a motorola again
.

So guys, how many of you are going to buy/recommend a motorola again ???

I plan on buying another moto next time around.  As long as ATT carries something in a quad with 2gigs of ram when I go to upgrade.  I have been very happy with my atrix2...even with the delays for ICS.  Worth waiting for.

I don't know if I will.  The Sammy GS series are quite impressive units to say the least and this whole wait and see process to get ICS is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

I will say that now that Google has firmly placed new people in charge of Moto Mobility, lost some dead weight (Sorry Mark)  and the new revised plan to offer less more desireable phones that they hopefully will be able to support fully has be hoping that I could stay with Moto.  However brand loyalty won't be my driving factor into which phone I get next.

Which company shows a solid support timeline and upgrade history/platform for their devices is what will sell me.  If Moto can't deliver JB 4.1 within 6 months to their newest trio of RAZR handsets then I'll have to question if Moto will ever be able to stay current in a reasonable time frame.

im happy with ICS, it really makes the atrix 2 make use of its good hardware. BUT that does not make me forget that we got this upgrade almost 4 months after other similar devices launched even before than the atrix 2, and while we just got ICS those other devices are close to get jellybean.

Overall happy with ICS but disappointed Face Unlock is not available if using MS Exchange and minor annoyances. I am curious why some people are reporting the 1200MHz after the upgrade; mine is still 1000MHz on the processor (verified with Vellamo). Also some of the "Smart Actions" have some weird side effects...

Next phone will sadly not be from Motorola.  Maybe in the future I will consider a Moto device but not until things seriously change in terms of updates being rolled out and supporting phones which are fully capable of them.  I'm grateful that our Atrix 2 has made the jump to ICS but original Atrix, Droid X2, Droid 3, and Photon 4G owners were totally left out in the cold not to mention the suffering Droid Bionic users have endured for so long.  I can't support a company even as rich in history as Motorola that has left so many with a bad taste in their mouths.
