@k3keyan_My

It works fine for me. Email received. I am logging in with my google account - all I can suggest is that you try again, as emails are going out immediately after checking box "I agree" and pushing the big blue button "Request Unlock Key"

@Olgapi - try using the data scrub tool on the unlock page - it works for me.

@Jayadev_A

Can you get OEM unlock data? Does that command work anymore? It sounds like something is corrupt in your bootloader partition, but honestly I don't know.

The error for an icorrect code would say something like "unlock key invalid"

You will have to contact support if you can't get further.

@pjotrr

Please provide output of getvar all and get OEM unlock data - unformatted. Cut and paste it all from cmd window

@olgapi

If you have an unlock code, and it doesn't work - you will have to contact service center. It appears you corrupted something in the boot loader partition.

I have already tried it and waited more than 3 days. As per your advise, tried again now. will wait for at-least one hour then will update on this.

""You should have received an email with your Unlock Key. Inside the email is a unique 20-character alphanumeric code that you will use to unlock your device.""

@Alpha,

Thank you so much. I am able to unlock Bootloader and it was some account issue.

I logged on with Google account to get unlock key but unfortunately my mail ID not updated on Motorola even though i have tried to update it is still giving empty box as it is already exist.

Then I tried with different google account to get it.

Thanks a Ton.

Re: Bootloader Unlock Problems?

2016-09-26, 21:24 PM

I have a Verizon Moto E (2015). I have ONLY used it on WiFi (never activated with Verizon). It is updated to Android 5.1.

I have followed the excellent "bootloader unlock instructions by Motorola. So far, NOT sucessful!

The error message reads: "Your device does NOT qualify for bootloader unlocking".

Reading through this Forums, I have the following CID: 0x0002 (apparently "unlockable" because it is Verizon)

(I thought after 2014, ISPs were NOT allowed to permanently lock the device.)

I would like to use a GSM SIM card in this phone.

I will sincerely appreciate any recommendations/assistance to UNLOCK this MotoE(2015) to use my GSM SimCard.. Thank you!

P.S. I have even tried the "Network"app on Google Play. No luck!

Re: Bootloader Unlock Problems?

I was under the impression that Moto allows unlocking bootloader of all Moto X (2nd gen) on Verizon.  In fact, I did unlock it last year through the Moto website.   I get the following on fastboot get_unlock_data:
