Re:Bootloader Unlock Problems?

2021-07-05, 16:00 PM

Hi!

Logically, if the phone is stolen or lost, it means that it has already been used by the previous owner and the time required to activate the OEM unlock, 72 hours or a week, has already passed. Or does Lenovo keep track of cases of theft from resellers stores or their own warehouses? Simply ridiculous!

Lenovo tried to copy Xiaomi and Samsung, but it turned out a caricature.

Amazing! As soon as I typed this I had the OEM-Unlocking activated! Who should I thank, God, the moderators or Lenovo?

0 person found this solution to be helpful.

This helped me too

We appreciate you posting here. Is this a new phone? Do you have a screenshot of an error you received?

Thank you agent Jes for you reply. I copied the commands and the output in my original post. It answers your question better than a screenshot, and should provide the information you need to generate the oem unlock code.

Here is the information again:

Hi John Palmer,

Thanks for this information. The phone should be connected to the internet (data/wifi) for at least one week. I'll reach this out to our team to get this checked.

I am already familiar with that page. Unfortunately it isn't helpful. I have two identical Z2 Force phones purchased new at the exact same time. One I unlocked the bootloader with no issue the other is not working even though it should.
