We print "Developer Edition" on the back of the phone. And I can look by your IMEI: 990002462539493.  It is not a Developer Edition.

AT&T is not eligible for Bootloader Unlock. CID is 0x0001. You have to have a Developer Edition phone with AT&T. Currently we don't make one for 2nd Gen Moto X other than MOTO X PURE edition.

Hello Mark,

I sent an email last Friday 03/27 with the information requested for the Verizon Moto X Developer Edition.  I was wondering how long does it take to receive a response?  Thanks for the help.

AT&T is not eligible for Bootloader Unlock. CID is 0x0001. You have to have a Developer Edition phone with AT&T. Currently we don't make one for 2nd Gen Moto X other than MOTO X PURE edition.

I saw that, i.e., the CID=0x0001, but I assumed there was a way around it! :)

I don't know what "Pure Edition" is or how I'd go about getting that. Is there a method of flashing/changing/installing something to make my Moto X 2nd Gen AT&T be a Pure Edition? I have to say that rooting the phone is really just something I wanted to do for fun; with my previous phones, and this one so far, I've had no real need to root it. But my tablet, a Kindle Fire HD, I can't imagine NOT having rooted it! That changed it from a hum-drum, Amazon-oriented tablet to a full-fledged Android tablet.

Thanks for your help!
