Unlocking bootloader

2018-01-16, 11:10 AM

Please proceed at your own risk, your warranty is now void. Should you brick or damage your device you did so on your own free will..... ?

When unlocking your bootloader take some factors into consideration.

Why do you want to unlock your bootloader? What will you and your device benefit? Do you have the right variant? Do some research before you purchase your device, as with all devices, there are variants and with this particular device there are a few and some allow the bootloader unlocked and some don't. Thus far to this point I did find stable custom ROMs for these devices, and even a worthy TWRP recovery. So please keep that in mind. So if you are only seeking to  unlock for that purpose it's all good.

I was using the TMobile variant and once the carrier unlocked my device it was simple to get the bootloader unlocked. Also Qualcomm and mediatek variants require different techniques. Good luck,
