'Text Messages Not Sent' Notification

2011-07-24, 0:05 AM

I have this notification that pops up every time I send a text that say '6 Text messages not sent.' But all of my texts have been sent... I cleared my messages, and it still popped up... It's not really a problem, it's just irritating. Anyone know how I can make it go away?

This error has surfaced on a number of Android phones and the only way to clear it that seems to work for everyone is a factory reset.  I found several references to this problem on several forums.  I'm assuming you're using the native messaging app and not a 3rd party app.  - MarkC

Yes.  The reset will restore the phone to out-of-the-box state.  Back up your contacts and media first.  Your 3rd party apps (if any) will come back as they're linked to your Google Account.  - MarkC

Tucker - if your media is stored on the SD card, it won't get wiped by the factory reset. If it's in the phone memory, it will.
