HTC announced full support for Indian languages (Tamil*, Hindi and Marathi) 5 months earlier(July 2012).
Can Motorola also release such language support in Indian Market.
All 3rd party language installations are demanding a Rooted phone.
So Motorola Please help us
Solved! Go to Solution.

Does Motorola supports all the indian languages?
If no we can work upon the support for Indian languages over mobile.
we have worked for many of such companies before.

Custom fonts " droidindia.ttf and akshar.ttf " https://www.dropbox.com/s/
So generating a perfect font, its rendering mechanism, etc customized for defy mini is the issue now.
Installed those fonts using https://play.google.com/
The Indian font I used was having some mistakes, like lack of concatenation of various curves, features within a single character... so its quite irritating to read for couple of hours. Anyhow the recent app by Google, crunches the above problems for Hindi input https://play.google.com/
Now I am enjoying my Defy mini, after installing 50+ apps and updating all Google apps, I still have 90+ MB internal memory free. Google currents my favorite app now loads smoothly and It shows the out of storage prompt only when the phone internal memory clocks 47 MB (Then just clear the data and cache, back to 90 MB mem). This phone offers a unmatched battery standby ( the dual sim functionality drains significant battery power for maintaining the radio). Lots of thanks to link2sd developers https://
Now all I am waiting for is a custom ICS Rom for defy mini, and the Impossible auto focus feature ( y can't we upgrade the Smartphone with higher RAM, Camera etc. I constantly upgrade my PC with graphic card, RAM module, HDD, Web camera.. i would like to do the same with my Smartphone without buying a new one).
Well custom ICS ROM for defy mini is a open challenge, and developers are already onto it. I never taught that i would gain root privileges on my Smartphone, but now i have, so I am positive that I can use some custom ROM on my smartphones soon.
Would upgrade to another Motorola or Micromax http://www.

Nice to hear from you. I would like to introduce you to the Indian language solutions company CDAC GIST.
We provide solutions for indian language enablement of your devices. We have worked upon and Anrdoid 2.3 to enable it
to Indian languages. We can provide the SDK to develop an app over android which will have Indian language support.
Native language support is not required to render the characters properly and the fonts are also asthetically great.

Good Evening Sir,
Working on the Gingerbread is a lot useful since a majority of the users are using it, Android 2.3.x may not be current most prevalent OS, but it is the OS which secured a market for the android OS.
The proposed application is awesome and we would be glad to work upon it. I have few doubts like from where can we download the relevant SDK files, is there a need for rooted mobile, should the application be upward compatible, should a keyboard supporting various Indian language is to be included and would it be a background or foreground process.
Lately installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KM.TF.DN&hl=en and have attached an image making use of the above application. The application suits the purpose somewhat, however works only on a rooted mobile.
Sir, being a final year B. Tech IT graduate, I am delighted to hear from a CDAC representative. Thanking You.
