@ Chris B, try to open your WiFi settings, have it forget your password.
Then reenter your password.
Let us know if that worked.

Poko... Been there, Done that.... it did not work.  I'm finding that if I reboot the phone, the wi-fi does connect for a time, then disconnects.  I did notice on the last reboot that as soon as I began the shutdown process, the wi-fi came on.  Next time I lose the wi-fi, I'm going to turn off my data to see what happens.  I'm also re-evaluating all of my SmartActions settings to see if something there might be triggering, but no-go.

Bluetooth stack changed in KitKat so reconfiguring is expected. Standard in
Kitkat is no Blue for the icon.
Why are you using WEP for wifi? You should use WPA2, if available.

There are some limitations to SmartActions on KitKat with location triggers
for WiFi.

I can't figure out how to change the default ringtone anymore. I got a new ding as the default tone but I can't change it. I can change individual ringtones by going into the contacts but not the default ringtone. Also WiFi signal strength/recption doesn't seem to be as good.

I took your comments to heart re; WPA/WPA2 vs WEP.  Lazy here... when I purchased a new router a few years back, I took the easy way out and moved my existing router's config to the new one's.  So today, I reconfigured the router for WPA/WPA2.  I also configured an OPEN guest connection (grandkids, you know).

I then grabbed our herd of devices - a second laptop, a notebook, three Kindles, two iPods and our two phones.  In each and every case, I was easily able to connect to the guest connection, EXCEPT for the two EM's. All of the connected devices report a GOOD to EXCELLENT signal from the router.

To make matters worse, I heard from US Cellular today, and they told me that we can not back out of the KitKat upgrade now.  Of course, they CAN put the phones on an analyzer to see what the problem is... if I've got the time to stand around waiting for an hour or so.  I may have to do that tomorrow.

Overall, in the case of OUR phones and OUR issues with internet connectivity, I'd say that KitKat has been a spectacular fail.

What kind of limitations?  Is this something I should bypass?

@Chris B,
If you have two EM's, with one of them, try to shut off all the event triggers... everything in the SmartActions App.

I did a Factory Reset on my Electrify M a few days ago and things work better for me now (cleaned out some garbage clutter... Do you still have a WiFi manager type App on your phone? (I think it was a US Cellular preferred app) My phone no longer has that one after the factory reset.
