Unlike some devices (Palm devices?) I have never seen any settings or apps to calibrate Android touchscreens...

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but is it just you or does the cursor on your Electrify jump around for others as well?  If others using your device experience the same jumpiness, you may want to have USC check out your screen.

If it is just you, I would say 1) it takes practice to get used to a touchscreen only device, and 2) consider other options like Swype or landscape keyboards (bigger keys = you don't need to be quite so precise)

Hope this helps! Cool

Uh-oh.  Jumping to the letter next to where you want to be would be an issue of getting used to the touchscreen but jumping to the other side of the screen sounds like you need a repair.

Motorola warranties the device for a year.  Unless someone else can provide a better suggestion, I would say you need to contact Motorola and inquire about sending the device in for repair.

Sorry I can't think of anything else to help you out Frown

I dont think this thing still has a warrenty. Not sure of manufacturer date. It has done good past two days. But if it happens again ill most likely find a photon/electrify replacement digitizer

Contact Moto--they will know for sure if your device is still under warranty.

If your device is not under warranty, there are replacement parts available.  I found a Photon (twin to the Electrify) digitizer for $45 here:  https://forums.motorola.com/posts/74eb8391ca.  Similar site here, http://www.cellulardr.com/search.php?posted=1&stext=photon&Search=Search, charges $70....

Good luck!
