How do you perform "safe boot" on Milestone XT720?

2011-10-27, 17:14 PM

I read about Android's "safe mode" boot in this article:

http://www.tested.com/news/how-to-use-androids-safe-mode-to-save-a-phone-from-boot-loops/3071/

According to the article, "safe mode" is a core Android feature available on all Android phones, but only describes how to trigger it on Samsung phones and Nexus One. I read elsewhere that on the Milestone A853 you use a dpad chord to trigger the mode. XT720 doesn't have a dpad, so I'm wondering how we trigger it on XT720. I tried searching Motorola's support pages, but came up empty handed.

How do we "safe boot" on XT720?
