Bootloader

Are you willing to unlock the bootloader of various motorola phones (XT860, XT862, XT860 4G) as you stated this year (2011)? I can't see how this would be 'bad' for you, it could only attract more developers and that is good for everybody.

Thanks in advance, Mil.

Re: Bootloader

bump, it's 2012.  Q4 2011 has come and gone and we're still waiting for you to live up to your statement (some would say commitment) made last year.

Re: Bootloader

Really Motorola? Not even an answer? I asked for the same to Motorola Argentina Customer Support and they didn't have the slightest clue what I was talking about, they didn't know what a bootloader was.
A lot of people only think that Verizon is the one who forbid Motorola to unlock the bootloares. If that was the case, why I don't have my bootloader unlocked? What are you trying to do Motorola? I really don't understand.
