Yea I also forgot to condition the battery when I got it. I was just so excited to get rid of my alcatel. Lol I swear there site said 512 when I got the phone I could be wrong... probably am. But I love this phone so much I just can't put it down. I just installed JIT so we will see how this goes seems to be running quicker. Not sure yet. I might just buy a back up battery.

*Removed Content* I just did it so I can't really say how much a difference it made cause I thought it was fast enough OC and with launcher pro. Launcher pro itself made my phone a completely different phone. I'm not experienced enough to try custom roms. I dot wanna break it I got 2 year equipment agreement. Lol

Yes JIT is available to be installed if you have root access like mcnutt.eric said, custom roms are still a no though because the XT720 has a locked bootloader. This prevents custom roms, custom recoveries, and sometimes makes it difficult to restore our phones if something should happen.

Yes, the Asia-Pacific users decided to make a big thread about it and it worked for them.
Hopefully Cincinnati Bell will pressure Motorola into bringing the US 2.2.

lol no its not, if you would have read, the xt720 is the same device as the Korean Motoroi, which has been scheduled to recieve Froyo. If the friggen Backflip can run Eclair, I think we deserve Froyo.

We better get 2.2 idk tho i can't even find the xt720 on motorolas US website. I havnt heard nothin else about it beside ways up about the motori. The original droid got 2.2 and we have basically the same phone but with better specs. All i kno is motorola is letting a bunch of people down if they dont upgrade.

I read somewhere that Motorola promised Froyo for the xt720. I've also been up and down xda-developers and its already possible to flash a .sbf. So even if Froyo is only released for the Motoroi, all we would need is a dump of the rom and we're set.
