It usually means that your battery is not recognized anymore or it is faulty.
Did you recently change the battery? How old is the phone?
I would recommend to give your local tech support a call to have this sorted: http://bit.ly/RcXzoU

My wife is facing the same problem with her new phone sent by me from U.S. to India. What should she do. Should she go to customer support center with phone. Will she get the warranty there too?

The IMEI in your profile shows that the warranty code is MY - Malaysia. Please be aware that some phone parts are different in Europe/ US and SE Asia and it really depends of the fault if they can repair your phone. I would contact your local support in India to ask if they can tell you where to send the phone and to have the repair centre of choice check what the fault is and if they can repair it.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for your response. My wife got it fixed. She got the new battery for the phone and now it is working fine.
Hi Ravinder, how did you get the battery changed? Was it through local service center in India?
