Jack, It's possible you just deleted the icon and the browser is still there? Regardless, my recommendation would be to go to the playstore and download and use the dolphin browser. It's free, fast and has tons of features. Chrome is another option now if you've been updated to Ice Cream sandwich.

I thank you Joe. Well, I have Chrome and it's all good, like the syncing of bookmarks, but when I play a video from within a website, it's harder to navigate the play options on the player. On Chrome all you have to do is touch somewhere and it throws out a magnified image of what you just touched. I don't care for that. They player itself seems very hard to go to full screen, takes several trys to get it to do that. I was just happier with the way the original browser played.

And yes, I'm afraid I did delete the browers because I did it from the APPS in SETTINGS. Used Uninstall. Well I have also heard of Dolphin at one time too. Perhaps I should give it a whirl and see how I like it.

Thanks for those suggestions. I marked it as "BEST ANSWER"

Jack, read through this thread too. There are 2 essentially "stock" browsers availble from the playstore.

It may just be disabled. I don't have an option to uninstall it on my xoom, only force stop and disable

Mine is disabled, and if I go to the apps list in settings and scroll right to "all" the disabled apps are at the bottom of the list. The stock browser is part of the ROM so you wouldn't be able to delete it entirely unless you Xoom had been rooted. Although another browser option that is very close to the stock one is ICS browser + I used that when the Xoom was still on Honeycomb. It's a lot like the stock browser with some of the features of chrome

Mr. pacojr67 you are CORRECT!  I never knew that at SETTINGS>APPS you could scroll further to the right. I found it and enabled it. However you have me thinking about trying the browser you mentioned above. Thanks so much!  Jack  ":-D
