Google or Motorola, or motoogle, have no interest outside of the US for xooms. We are a dumping ground. Exxpecting something different when nothign has changed, is the defintion of stupidity. be different root it and take in a custom ROM, and unlock the potential. I have jelly bean 4.1.1 on my MZ601 and its outstanding. if you thought ICs was good then Jelly bean will amaze you. Its fast, solid, and great battery life. Its google AOSP.

I have JB on my Galaxy Nexus, it is amazing, huge difference from ICS, needless to say from HC. But I am not a techy person and would like to keep my Xoom 'Untouched' also I prefer to have pure Google software. Having said that it seems everyone here is putting different software on their Xoom, I wish it doesn't mean the wait is going to be even longer than that.

I've heard nothing but good things about 4.1, any idea on a projected date on which it'll come out? I did anyone got the invitation from network feedback to test it out?

@HirSal The network feedback was for the US "GED" Xooms, so no one internationally would have gotten the invite.

Outside of the US you are likely to be waiting for JB, the UK is still waiting on ICS, with some vague rumour that we might skip ICS in favour of JB but no firm information either way from Moto.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an invite or an update, the best that will happen to you is you'll pass out and wake up a short while later with a headache.

I now have a US GED Xoom. JB has not been issued yet. ICS is rather good though.

Might look at rooting next.........
