Factory Reset Mirage Solo with Daydream

If you encounter problems with your Lenovo Mirage Solo, you can try a factory reset, which restores all settings to their factory default.

There are two ways to factory reset the device:


Using the Settings menu

  1. Press the Daydream button on your controller.
  2. Select the settings gear in the top right hand corner.
  3. Select "all settings"
  4. Scroll and select "System"
  5. Select "reset options"
  6. Select "factory data reset"


Please note there is no way to undo this operation.


Using recovery mode if you cannot access the Settings menu

  1. Fully charge the device. Unplug the device.
  2. Check that the device is turned on. If it is not turned on, turn the device on by holding the power button for 3 seconds.
  3. Press and Hold the power button and volume up together on the device (not the controller) till device restarts. Let go of the power button once the screen flashes. Keep holding the volume up.
  4. The device should show an android logo with "No command" at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Hold the power button for 2 seconds and press the volume up button once.
  6. Use volume up and down to navigate between the options and the power button to select.
  7. Highlight the option "Wipe data/factory reset" and short press the power button.
  8. Use the volume buttons to select option yes and press the power button.
  9. After the factory reset is completed, the device may reboot to recovery mode again. If this happens, use the volume buttons and power keys to select reboot system.
