Daydream SDK - Mirage Solo can't get GvrControllerPointer click buttons in Unity

Hello,

 

I'm using Daydream SDK in Unity for a VR project and I've read the documentation but I can't see more documentation on what I'm doing wrong. https://developers.google.com/vr/develop/unity/controller-support
I added a GvrControllerPointer sibling to the camera as requested, I added a GvrEventSystem, everything that is in the samples but I can't get my pointer to not go through my canvas and enable click and hover on buttons.

 

Do you have any hints on what is required to enable this?

 

Unity Version: 2019.2.15f1 / Daydream SDK Version: Google VR SDK 1.18.4
