Mirage Solo: Connection Issues

2018-05-21, 16:44 PM

I have a very strong Wi-Fi signal at both my home and office, but in both locations the Mirage Solo camera seems to struggle to connect to my phone (or stay connected). Sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes it take a few minutes, and sometimes it refuses to connect no matter how many times I restart my phone/bluetooth/wifi, etc.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

I am sorry that you are having problems remaining connected to the Wifi. I cannot think of what may be causing this.
I suggest that you try turning off any other bluetooth devices around you which might interfere with your camera's signal.
You could also try to forget other bluetooth devices previously connected to your phone, to ensure that the camera connection is not accidently dropped.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let us know if you keep encountering this problem.

Still having problems with this. Is there any way to transfer / stitch videos and photos besides through bluetooth? Any way to do it with a USB-C cable connection?

Hi, I received this information when I inquired about file transferring files from a PC:

For system stability, the MTP option is disabled currently. If you want to transfer files from PC to Headset, you need prepare an SD card to be inserted into the headset and then utilize ADB demand to push files from PC to SD card.

To do this, you need enable the headset to developer modes. And, install an SDK platform tool (https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools) based on your PC OS and then push contents from PC to the SD card. (https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/adb#copyfiles)

Additionally, another user suggested using Dropbox, googledrive, or another cloud based software.

I hope you find this information helpful!

As to your bluetooth issue, did disabling nearby bluetooth devices not help? If not, could you let me know whic bluetooth version your phone runs and I'll double check the Mirage Solo bluetooth requirements.

I'm also having trouble keeping my phone connected to my camera. What phone are you using? I've got an iPhone 6s.

I'm having problems with the headset ignoring the remote I've charged the remote many times and also the headset nothing works I'd love to return it for a repair or another new headset.

I too am having connection issues. Note that most people here are talking about connecting the CAMERA to their phone, not the headset of the same name. I'm using iPhone X and it's like taming a horse to get a solid connection to the camera, and when I finally do, the transfer rate is insanely slow, like 20 mins per 5m video.

Any help would be appreciated.
