Hi Daniel-Reyes0,

Thank you for posting. Aside from updating your phone, does the auto-reboot happen?  Try using our Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant App for PC to update your phone. If it would still happen again I would suggest using the rescue function of the app and re-update the phone again. Please note that the rescue function would reset your phone to its factory settings so please make sure to back up your files before doing rescue.

Download link for LMSA: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds101291

Let me know if you have more questions.

Best regards,
Zeke

I have the same issue but I do not have a PC right now that has room for this softwear. Is there a easy way to fix a faulty update? Why is the consumer responsible for the fix.

Hi Duckyoo7,

You may try to perform a factory data reset on the device and check that would still happen.

Here is the Moto: https://support.motorola.com/uk/en/products/cell-phones/moto-e-family/moto-e5/documents/MS129456
