Storage space issue while charging

I am having strange with my Moto E5 Play. Whenever I put phone on charging, storage space gets filled up automatically till it gets full. I have more than 2 GB free internal storage. When I plug-out charging cable, it shows 86% memory used, and when I plug-in charging cable, it starts filling till it goes out of space.

 

please suggest.

Hi rajeshwarkapse,

 

This is odd, but thanks for posting. Can you check this on safe mode? Also, can you show us a screenshot of your storage? Thanks.

 

To Enable Safe Mode
1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.

Thank you Rich, I didn't see issue while charging in safe mode. But still having issue in normal mode. Please find attached screenshot. Please let me know if you need further information.

Hi rajeshwarkapse,

 

Thanks for the screenshots. I discussed this with my team and we haven't seen any such like this. But since it's not happening in safe mode, possible it's an app causing this. We recommend uninstalling the apps you previously installed see if it helps, otherwise, do a full factory data reset without restoring your apps. Install them one at a time until we find out which app is causing an issue.
