Does the Moto G4 heat up?

2016-06-07, 11:33 AM

Hello everyone.

So I've been looking for a new phone since my other phone's battery died. I'm a student, so on a budget and I was looking at Motorola phones, including the Moto G4 which appeared throguh the specs to meet my needs.

However, very worried at seeing the reviews of the phones stating that the phone experiences some serious over-heating, as well as camera issues.

Have there been any changes to this? Is it something that could eventually be fixed through updates?

More so, I was very disappointed to talk to customer support, who told me they had not heard of such issues and continued to say so even after I provided them with evidence of complaints. They simply told me to talk to them after I've bought the phone if I have problems then.

Keep in mind that "heating" is subjective.

Phones get hot with use and are determined by many factors. Some users are more sensitive to this then others.

If the phone actually over heats it will shut down, and I have seen no reports of this.
