G4 play slow running and constant freezing of apps

Hello I am in desperate need of help before I lose it! My Moto g4 play is slow running on anything I try to use, freezing between apps and loading. I have cleared cache internally and apps but the problem still exists grrrr. Any help would be grateful

So, I have the same problem. Several of my apps either won't load or take forever to do so including my social media apps, by bank app and others. So in safe mode, most of the apps I have are turned off so what's left that I can turn on like mostly google apps work great. I have 92 apps on my phone. If one of those apps is the problem, how can I find out which one it is. I need to get this phone working properly again. Any help you can give me will be much appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to Forums,

 

Sorry to hear about it. Did you check in the "Safe Mode" option? if so, how was the phone performance?

 

If you are not seeing any lag then, try this below "Reset app preferences" & let us know.

 

Tap on Settings>>Apps>>3 vertical dots>>Reset app preferences>>Reset apps.

Sorry to know about your device. Have you tried performing a Clear Cache in your device? If not, please do and let us know.

 

Also, if you are using a screen protector or phone cover, please try removing it and see how it goes.

I have tried all the methods mentioned above like factory data reset and clearing cache then too app crashes and it happens with inbuilt apps also. I am not able to use apps properly do something or just tell us you are not able to solve the issue so that we can take our actions regarding changing our device

Sorry to know about your concern and thanks for writing to us! Do you have enough space in your device? Which software version are you using in your device?

 

Also, please check your device in Safe Mode and see if the issue persists in Safe Mode.
