Moto G4 Plus

2016-05-23, 11:52 AM

Hi Community,

I am a user of Moto G 2nd Gen still i am using it. Now i am interested to buy Moto G4 Plus.

Can anyone suggest me wether it is worth to buy or not because in this forum it states there are heating issues , fingerprint issues.

And 45C is a very high temperature people also says that only 15 min gaming is heating the phone.

Normal usage of whatsapp, fb, youtube also heats the phone.

Your suggestions and advice are welcome.

Every phone gets warm when used. If the phone gets to hot it will shut off. I have not seen that happen on any motorola phone.

The internal temperature measurements are misleading. The CPU on any device can easily reach 100C, that is why devices are built with passive or active cooling systems.

Different people are more sensitive to the temperature of their phone. You can't go by other's comments, and no one can tell you what you will or won't like.

There are not a lot of comments on the G4 forum, so you are basing your opinion are very tiny amounts of data.

I am a motorola user i know everything what motorola provides. i am using moto g 2nd gen but before g4 i can get the opinions of the user. but see i have also read one review about battery draining very quickly.

if at the time of heat camera performance is laging then how can u say it is usual.

how can motorola ensure about the heating and battery draining.??

If you know everything then you know that one review should not mean much. One user with battery drain could be anything. Plenty of users complain about lag on every phone on the market. Other users say phones are fine

I'd bet anything that if we could work with that one reviewer, we'd find a third party app at fault.

When a phone lags, something in the background may be hogging the processor, slowing the phone down, and that's typically a third party app that's either poorly programmed or not optimized for the operating system.

The experience of one user is not definitive, especially when we don't know what's on the phone.

Hey

I am flad that you are quick in response. But this heating issues are keeping me from buying moto g4+.

Please note that i m huge moto g fan and i have been using moto g1 since last 2 n half years and tested many apps other moto models. but regarding heating issues there is no sufficient data out or fix :(

hence i m worried too.

The heating issue you refer too is from one person - there are many others that have no problems.

Don't buy the phone if you don't think it is for you, but since you have no first hand knowledge with the phone, it is not fair to categorize this as an issue that you have not observed yourself.

Also, unless the phone is 100% off, the moving electrons in the radios, wires, screen, battery, and other components will generate heat.

Thanks again for quick reply. But thats quite rude reply i will say instead of blunt. Have you seen reviews on you tube yourself ? some of them do highlight this heating issue.
