Moto G5 Plus - Cannot connect to WiFi

I recently bought 2 Lenovo Moto G4 plus phones for my wife and I.

I have since bought a model rail control system (Roco Z21) which sets up its on wifi network using a TP Link modem.

 

The 2 phones can successfully connect to mt home network, using VirginMedia and Netgear router.

However the 2 phones cannot successfully connect to the Z21-TP Link network. It just gives "connected, no network".

I have tried setting the channel to 10, but no difference.

 

I have tested an iPad Mini2, and (my old phones) 1st gen Moto G, an HTC Desire S, and a really old LG Quantum. These all connect perfectly to both the home and the Z21-TPLink networks.

 

I find this strange that the newest of all these, the 2 Lenovo Moto G4 Plus, are failing.

 

Could someone please offer help.

Hi sabino,

 

Can you please verify what phone model do you have, a G4 Plus or a G5 Plus? Is it a Europe variant? Were you able to connect it to that WiFi before?
