Motorola G4 Plus overheating

Have I just spent 15k on this phone that overheats so bad that I can't even touch it. Forget heavy tasks, it overheats on all simple tasks. I am not being even able to whatsapp for more rhan 10 mins..feel like the phone battery will blow.

 

Help required...Seriously!

Please use search before posting -- there is a long thread on this here already and new threads on the same topics just cause clutter. Locking this thread. 

 

Please understand that we need details to solve issues. That means the more you can tell us about exactly what you are experiencing, and related information, is very important. We rely on our community members to help us in this way -- we usually can't get to solutions without it. So please post on the other thread about the actual performance issues you are having due to heating. A phone will get warm or even hot when it's working hard.

 

Also, please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.
