It's not a policy, it's a procedure, and nobody from Motorola ever gave you a specific date for a rollout.

The process works like this:  some number of serial numbers or imeis are selected for a batch, or what we call a "wave" of phones to update.  If you do an FDR after the phone has been chosen, it's wiped off the list of phones that get updated next.  The system is not geared to bounce back and forth looking to find you.  When the current wave is complete, they'll run another scan and you may or may not be selected for the next wave.

There is no "right" and I can't in any way confirm the 18th of March as even a target date.

Don't believe rumors and don't believe anything from the web.  ONLY believe what comes straight from Moto.

Even after Oreo update, still no signs of Volte support for Airtel. Moreover battery is draining like anything post update. Mobile network standby is the culprit but I'm having good enough network all the time though.

Hi Shilagh1,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how important this is for you, allow us to see what we can do to help. Please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Need help updating your profile? See here

Regards,
May
