Response to volume issue on G4

After speaking to customer service regarding the volume issue on notifications for my phone ... The G4 Play ... The only response you get is "we are unaware of this issue" and "this is as per phone design". 

 

When I asked if a patch would be coming out the response was "this is as per design" (again) and "we are not aware of any updates".

 

So we are stuck with low volume for now. Given they said they had not heard of the issue, everyone needs to contact them and tell them. Maybe then they will accept it is an issue. I did offer to let them take my phone out for the day, they didn't respond on that one.

Some time ago Motorola appeared to acknowledge this problem and said that a fix was in development:
