Speaker problem

2018-11-09, 23:07 PM

I can't play any type of sound since this morning. I already restarted it, I tried by clearing the cache data and nothing has worked so far. What else can I do?

I haven't drop it so I don't think a physical damage is related.

Yes! The headphone socket is still working.

And actually the audio came back for a couple of hours today, but itsi gone again :(

I backup the data on my phone/s to my Laptop/PC as well as the cloud. This way I know I'm safe to do a Factory Restore/Reset.I do one a couple of times a year just to keep my phones speedy and uncluttered.

Hoping that it's a software fault and not a bust speaker or bad speaker connection I suggest you do the same.

If this doesn't cure it I'm used to building my own PCs and repairing my Laptops so if it is a speaker gone.

If the phone is out of warranty.

I would take the phone apart and get the serial number of the speaker and buy and fit a new one,It's not as hard as people think and there's help on Youtube,
