Re: (QUESTION) Can the Moto G 4th gen run pokemon go?
Just wondering will definately buy this phone if it can.

I recently got my son the G4+ and he has been playing with no issues. Keep in mind, signal coverage/strength can also affect the performance. If you're in a poor coverage area and the phone is struggling to get a good signal then it's going to cause more heat and faster battery drain. This could cause lagging/performance issues on any device.
That being said, can the phone play Pokemon Go? Absolutely.
Now get out there and catch em all!

Your feedback helps us improve! After going put and playing Pokemon Go for a couple hours tonight I can tell you the game ran like absolute garbage. The GPS tracking was everywhere. The menus were almost impossible to navigate due to how slow the phone was....I'm hoping this is just an issue with the game, as I was playing Asphalt 8 just fine...Pokemon Go is a buggy mes right now, so I guess I'll blame it on the game for now. I hope the issue is fixed. Otherwise the phone seems rather snappy.
I have been running Pokemon Go on the Moto G4 for the last two days and other than server side issues with the game it runs flawlessly. No worries. The Moto G4 runs Pokemon Go like a champ.
Yeah I just got my phone and it was the best experience playing the game I've ever had.
