Re: The new Moto G⁴ Plus - Product features

I am interested in the Moto G 4+, like the "bloat free" idea. I have always gotten my phones from Verizon and am wondering how I could get the G 4+ to work on my Verizon account. I currently have a Droid Turbo.

My 1st post here, so if I am not in the tight place, my apologies.

Hello,

The display on the Moto G⁴ Plus is an LCD. However, what do you mean by smoked?

Re: The new Moto G⁴ Plus - Product features

Having a Moto G2 (2014), I might be interested in this one, pending of course the reviews that will come out on it.

I do have a question though, I own a pair of Bose In-Ear earphones with remote control. They are branded as being compatible Samsung and Android, and while I can use them to speak with my Moto G, the remote buttons do not work. After research, I found that this was a hardware design of the phone, which did not have the needed thing to make the buttons work.

Is that fixed in the Moto G4 plus or is it still an issue?

Re: The new Moto G⁴ Plus - Product features

as the owner of a 2014 moto x, i was hoping this new g4+ also had the amoled screen. however, now that i've learned that it doesn't, i won't bother getting one. the current moto x switched to lcd, and it makes no sense not to take advantage of amoled with moto display. its just more energy efficient. hopefully, the new gen moto x or z will go back to amoled, which i've heard a rumor it will. as much as 4k screens are all the rage, they're not practical for conserving battery power, which we all know is not a smart phones strong point. especially my 2300 mah in my 2014 moto x.
