I just got my phone this Sunday (ordered it from Amazon no ads) and I had one initial update (seemed small it went fast) and had nothing this morning and after a reboot this afternoon I had the 137-43-5 update.  Just installed it and will test it out.

Ok so far so good. Just had a 5 min call to the wife inside my building (where at best I typically get 1-2 bars of LTE) and it sounded fine. BUT the poor calls were inconsistent so I would like to see over the next few days to see if it's really fixed.

One other thing I noticed that in Settings there are now "suggestions" that I had not seen before. Not sure if this is new or I just didn't notice it before.

Thank you for the update I greatly appreciate it.  So far so good, it's been a few hours and no choppy calls.  Able to use Volte no complication as of yet.  I will continue to monitor, if anything arises I will let you know.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  What a relief!!!

Can you provide more specifics on the firmware being rolled out to "verizon users"? Does this fix have any additional fix or security updates beyond just fixing the VoLTE voice issue? What is meant by "verion users"? Does this mean one must have Verizon sim? If so when will this fix be rolled out to Verizon MVNO users? Is this for both Verizon postpaid users as well as Verizon prepaid users?

Other Carriers and Amazon devices will get the update as well, I can't provide any specifics on the date, but it's coming. As for security updates, yes there are security updates included.

Hi Tom, I have a Best Buy G5+ that I purchased about 2 weeks ago, and I got the NPN25. 137-43-5 security software update in my Settings>System Updates. I downloaded/installed it, and my calls are now coming through clearly with my Enhanced 4G LTE turned back on. But I am extremely hesitant to say that this is a fix, since just rebooting the phone would often fix the problem for a number of hours and then it would come right back. I'll let you know if it is still working in a week....
